So on Sunday, we carpooled over to the Berkeley student ward. They meet in this way cool older building, so when Mark-Anthony and I went on a search for the atrium, what we found was even cooler! This is the view from the roof, and if you look closely, you can see all of San Francisco in the background. We wanted to just move the Sunday school class up to the top of the building, but alas. We also hope that they at least do a few ward activities up there sometimes.
The whole group outside of church (minus me, who took the picture)
This might be a problem...
So we drove up to the temple to spend the afternoon there. I managed to get this awesome shot of Nate spitting out his cherry pit... pretty cool, right? And check out that view from the temple grounds. Awesome!
The Oakland temple:
This temple is awesome because it's up on the side of a mountain/hill thing, so you can see it from everywhere to the west of it, and the view from the grounds is unbelievable!
One of our managers, Mark, invited us to his house in San Jose for Sunday dinner. Here's me and Kylee, relaxing in the backseat on the drive down.
So dinner was amazing--vegetables!! Definitely not getting enough of those. I sat and chatted with Mark's dad for a while, because he served his mission in France, so that was fun. His parents also let us go in the back and pick some of their raspberries--my favorite!
Here's Dustin with his dream animal--a miniature elephant. Random much?
