Day three was tiring! I'm not sure why. We started out with a class at ten (oh yeah, this is after our bus driver hit another car's side mirrors and pushing the corrogated sheets of metal out of the way of this construction site as we drove past. That was exciting.), where this guy talked to us about Senegal: history, enthnicities, and geography. There was a power outage ("this is senegal") so it was pretty much in the dark, but it was interesting anyways.
Lunch time (this is what Chloe ordered, and she was brave enough to eat it :) )
We went to this amazing restaurant to eat. I had chicken. And those little round things that look like tater tots are actually fried plantation bananas, which seem an awful lot like banane poingos. Dee-lish.
In front of the university we visited. They had this african exposition going on that the curator of the library took us on a tour of. I'm afraid that we were all a little bit dead by this point from so much walking, so we maybe weren't the best audience :(
In front of the new library at the university we visited. The other library is literally one small room with maybe four aisles of books, and they wanted to know what the difference is between the one at our university and theirs... we didn't even know how to respond, but it sure made us appreciate our wonderful university back home! Some men at the university doing one of their five daily prayers.

This tree is now competing for my favorite tree ever.
Nice. Cream. I have yet to eat there, but I will.

That pic of you screams "jet lag." It had to catch up some time!
Loving your trip! And, wishing I could dine on some poingos with you.
